PRODUCTION PROCESS

Plate Shearing

Numerical control shearing machines cut flat steel plates into trapezoidal sheets according to the taper of lamp poles. Precise dimensional control ensures smooth edges without burrs, supplying standardized raw materials for the subsequent bending process.

Bending

Cut trapezoidal steel plates are fed into hydraulic CNC bending machines. High-pressure bending forms flat sheets into tapered tubular blanks. The equipment accurately controls pole taper and roundness to guarantee tight fitting seams and uniform curved surfaces.

Welding

Automatic submerged arc welding continuously seals the longitudinal seams of bent pole bodies for solid, pore-free welds. Workers manually weld access doors and mounting lugs. The robust welding structure enhances the lamp pole’s wind resistance and load-bearing capacity.

Straightening

Welded poles carry minor deformation from thermal stress. Dedicated straightening machines apply multi-point pressure calibration to eliminate bending. Each pole is inspected to maintain perfect straightness for neat vertical installation.

Flange

Thick base flanges, access doors and embedded fittings are precisely aligned and welded to both ends of poles. Flange surfaces stay horizontal with aligned bolt holes, creating standard connecting structures for on-site installation and lamp assembly.

Galvanizing

Fully welded lamp poles are immersed in high-temperature molten zinc for hot-dip galvanization. A dense zinc-iron alloy coating forms on the steel surface to isolate moisture and air, delivering long-term rust protection for outdoor, coastal and humid environments.

Polishing

All weld seams, flanges and rough zinc layer protrusions are thoroughly polished. Burrs, welding slag and uneven bumps are removed to create a smooth, uniform surface foundation for the following coating process.

Painting

Outdoor weather-resistant powder coating is applied via electrostatic spraying and cured under high temperature. The coating features strong adhesion, UV resistance and anti-fading performance, with customizable colors for decorative and protective purposes.

Packing

Finished lamp poles pass full quality inspection before bundling. Pole ends are wrapped for scratch protection, matched with flange bolts and labeled by specifications. Products are neatly stacked and prepared for delivery.
